-tictech message:
Tic-techers,
Anyone out there know how to upload a word document as a webpage so that the
quote marks in Word stay as quote marks and do not convert to a single odd
looking mark?
Here is a sample of the Word text:
"How did you . . ." Simon's voice trailed off.
"What do you expect from a wizard at the age of 784 one of four wizards in
the universe and the best of the lot."
Here is the text after converting Word to a webpage and uploading it to the
server:
ìHow did you . . .î Simonís voice trailed of.
ìWhat do you expect from a wizard at the age of 784 one of four wizards in
the universe and the best of the lot.î
I tried . . .
changing the font both before and after converting to the webpage format as
well as all the tricks I know.
Any suggestions?
I hope to upload 23 student stories if I can get past this hitch.
Thanks in advance,
Kevin
