    --- TIC-TECH message:
There is an opportunity for a few 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th grade teachers to
participate in an online assessment pilot. It is being sponsored by OSPI and
the Gates Foundation. Teachers will get subs for May 30th and 31st to get an
orientation and instructions on the use of it. Full piloting will begin next
fall. Teachers in this project will also need to participate in about six
days of training and collaboration activities next fall.
The purpose of the online assessment is to provide teachers with immediate
feedback about student progress. From this feedback teachers will be able to
design instruction that fits their students needs.
If you are a 4th, 5th, 7th, or 8th grade teachers interested in this project
please contact me. If you know one of the above please have them contact me.
