Bruce, unfortunately this is not a rhetorical question. To you, me, and
many, it seems obvious the district needs to address this. But, leaving
things as they have been, assuming schools will just "figure out a way"
to get their tech needs met - has been the district approach so far. I
do not see or hear movement in a different direction, and it is
disheartening. Let us hope this vision will change soon.

I do not think those making the big-time budget decisions have heard it
enough. It is encouraging to hear this questioning at the secondary
level, where there is generally a little more "stretch" in the building
budget. Elementary schools go through this classroom size vs. tech
support issue every year. There is no right answer to this question,
and it's ridiculous to put a building in the position of having to
choose one over the other. - Mark
