    --- TIC-TECH message:
Did you know that with a KCLS library card that we have FREE access
to a huge online library of technical books

The source is a Website called books24x7.com, and normally one would
pay $299 for an annual subscription. Instead, the King County Library
has joined and anyone with a KCLS library card can use the site
www.kcls.org to access and register and log in to www.books24x7.com .
Use the *e-books* link on the left side of the page, and then click
the _books24x7.com_ link on the page that appears. You will need to
have your KCLS library card number hand, and you will also need to
register with books24x7, but this is free through KCLS.

I was amazed by the huge number of _complete_ technical books that are
available online, with the ability to save them to a personal
bookshelf, bookmark them, and even (of course) purchase the paper
version. This is a HUGE savings for people like us who may only want
to reference these books once in a while. I do urge you to check
this out, and spread the word.
