    --- TIC-TECH message:
Hi all. I am hoping to take one or two days and visit some schools that
might provide some inspiration for the Madrona Technology program. I'm here
    trolling for contacts and invitations.

Our situation is this: We are a K - 8 schools with a computer lab as our
only technology instruction available. The lab is used in a PCP rotation (a
hold-over from the K- 5 days) for all students. The end result is that
students are dropped off at the lab for 40 minutes once and sometimes twice
a week "to do computers". After many arguments to the contrary I think that
Madrona is going to stick with the PCP/ Lab line-up for at least another
year - until we receive levy computers and start staff technology training.

Are there any schools out there that feel that they have a good thing going
with a computer lab and or a technology PCP period? I would appreciate any
    contacts that are offered.

    Thanks

    Jim Meyer
