Hi All,
In answer to Mark's comments: I heard that IS lost 21 positions... two of
those being network analysts. However, I don't have any hard facts on this
so would leave final comfirmation of these numbers to someone else. If this
is true, I can hardly imagine the wisdom of cutting much-needed analysts.
If anything, they should be adding more, not only to assist schools better,
but just to lighten the load on analysts that are already carrying too much.

Hi All,
Lots of rumors have been flying around lately, many having to do with
layoffs. The latest I heard was the district webmaster had been cut.
Well,
I figured, that just can't be so... but then I started wondering about
other
tech positions - IT, IS, and the rest. We had an SEA rep in our
building
this morning, but I didn't get a chance to ask him about this. Anyone
have
information to share? - Mark
