    Hi All,
First, thanks very much to those who shared their experiences on the new
teacher workstation (cws) rollout - both on and off list. Your information
was very helpful. Now I'd like to ask another question....

Is it possible to connect those new machines (win2000, seattleschools
domain) with shared printers on a local domain? I've asked several people
lately who thought there "just might be a way to do that", but they didn't
know the details. Just to be clear, I'm not talking about a networked
printer, like one using a jet-direct card. I'm talking about connecting to
a shared printer which is hooked up to a computer (win98) on a local domain.

I'm quite well aware this practice is being frowned on. I just want to
know, once and for all, yes or no, if it is possible - and of course, how to
do it :) Thanks in advance for an answer, one way or the other. - Mark

ps - there are plenty of other related issues to discuss here, I know.
    stay tuned :)
