With our service contract, Dell will send someone out the next day or
within four hours. I've never used it that way, but I get the replacement
parts I need the next day from Dell. As I said in the last posting, the CD
eject problem is different than the Floppy eject. They are similar in
being poor design that could not have been tested very well by Dell or they
never would have made it out the door. But, again, it only happened to a
small percentage of computers. I suppose the computer manufacturers have
an "acceptable rate of failure".
